Pint can from Ridgeview Liquor, shared at the PS Surly Darkness Tasting, 2/25/23. Black, thin tan head, good retention. Aroma of orange, roast, cherry, oak, whiskey. Taste is whiskey, orange, roast, cherry. Mild booze. A bit thin.

Black body, medium brown head. Big nose with oak, sherry, roast, coffee, and musty-tart cherry. Body thick with huge rye barrel notes, buttery and oaky with heavy, inky roast/chocolate/coffee and respectable but subdued tart cherry character. Not a standout, but very good.
