[33cl bottle encountered on my NZ holiday.] A straw coloured pour with lasting white head; lemony aroma; sharp lemony taste with a syrupy citrus bitterness; and a bitter aftertaste of artificial sweeteners. Quite unpleasant.

330ml bottle from Monster and Beer, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a crystal clear golden colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and lots of initial bubbles. The aroma is fake sugar. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a light, crisp, light herbal, watery, sugary, lemon palate. Light bodied with average carbonation. It’s a sweet and sickly radler and no beer drinker likes sweet and sickly radlers!

330ml bottle into schooner glass. Bargain bin at BWS! $2! Smells (and looks) like a shandy I would've had as a kid. Pale amber with dissipating bubbly white head, light carbonation. Beery lemonade aroma. Fairly tasteless at first, then a finish of cardboard and lemon. Lingering lemon at the end. Easy drinking but sweet. Surprised to see it is 5%, gives it some body.

330ml bottle. Pours gold. Lemon, synthetic lemon, cereal, bread, sulphur. Medium body. Tastes like a mediocre lager shandy.

On tap. Pours orange. No nose that I would notice. If there were some malt and hops taste in this I’d say it was balanced, because the lime taste (despite feeling artificial) is well blended into the rest. But like this? No no no.

Bottle from Ueda. A deep copper gold with a light beige head that has a HUGE ginger ale/citrusy sprite like aroma. Nice enough but kind of overpowering. The body is the on the thin side with a club soda-ish carbonation. The flavor is a ginger ale/7 up with some cardboard, lime and light malts.Overall the flavor isn’t bad but it is more soda than beer like which isn’t so strange or off-style for a radler I guess.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Getränk mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch süß nach Limonade. Geschmack ebenfalls süß, fruchtig nach Limonade, kein Biergeschmack.
