Hazy amber color with red reflex; medium sized creamy head. The aroma is really nice, malt, fruity (apricots, plums, yellow jam...), with traces of yeast. The flavor is very sweet, but without a defined caramel or malt character; again, there is a prominent yellow fruits jam flavor (peach, apricots...). The bitterness is medium-low. In the final there are just traces of the alcohol content. Very sweet but very good.

08/05 0.5 l bottle courtesy of Marko via Papsoe, thanks goes to both of them! It poured hazy bronze brownish with medium sized head and some particles floating inside. Strong, dark fruity aroma. Sweet flavor, again, mostly of plums, dried figs and raisins, honey, chocolate and sticky sugar. Touched with herbal tea hops. Full body with again sweet, sticky sugar finish. It was too much sweet for my taste, again, I’m glad to try this scarce beer!

Bryg 92. Murky amber coloured, medium to big sized off-white head, dark fruits in the nose. Sweet fruity, hoppy and caramel with sugary alcoholic notes. Nice brew but unfortunately too sweet.

Another one from the immensly generous Papsoe himself, shared with the Croatian crew (who unfortunately due to a mixup or two, a busy schedule and the fact that the tasting was on a Sunday and nothing close worked failed to comply with his advice to drink this with vanilla icecream or apple pie, but Maja’s chocolate muffins were ok too :)) Aaaanywaaaay. Poured a dark amber-brown body riddled with particles. Medium sized off white head that went away painfully slow. Sweet malty tose. The taste is dominated by plum jam, slightly acidic, obviously malt-driven. Sweet, grainy, soft, honeyish, sugary, only slightly acidic, maybe some hops. As we were warned, it’s a bit too sweet, but nothing overbearing and yeah, we enjoyed it :). Did I mention that Papsoe rocks?

Bottled 500ml (bryg 92, Maj 2010)
Deep ruby color, steady beige head. Berryish, sweet, slightly vegetably aroma with sourish notes. Full-bodied. Berryish sweet, strawberries, honey, casndy sugar, alcohol ... leading to slightly harsh finish. Very sweet slowdrinking beer. Too "Danish berryish" for my liking.
