This classic English style pub ale pours a dark mahogany with off white foam. Rich in biscuity malt character with notes of sweet toffee & caramel and balanced with a bit of roasty chocolate malt, Sherwood has the flavor and mouthfeel of an English brown ale but at a very sessionable ABV with a clean, dry finish that invites you back pint after pint. This is a great transitional beer seasonally and stylistically.
