Keg at Magnolia Belgian Bar and Bistro, Kewsick. Dark gold/orange, almost clear with a thin white head. Apricot, pine and a touch of leather in the aroma. Bitter taste with a herbal medicinal edge. More apricot in the slightly peppery aftertaste. The Sorachi Ace throws this for me a bit, it's otherwise a very decent drink.

Clear yellow beer, small creamy white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of tropical fruits, bit dank, very hoppy and fresh, cheesy touch, pineapple. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter start, malty, some citrus, tropical fruits, very refreshing. Aftertaste: nice bitterness, grapefruit, dry, hoppy, bit grassy, malty touch, very bitter, more tropical fruits. Lovely beer!

Slightly aged sample Huge white head, clear golden beer, little carbonation. Nice grapefruit aroma, fresh-smelling. Bit of ureum, and also toilet soap. Bitter, citrus/grapefruit, a bitterness as from laurel/bay leaf, and fragrant New World hops. Light, but nowhere watery mouthfeel, hopoils giving dry-out effect. Excellent light quaffing beer. Txs to Tim for sharing!
