Brown beer with distinctive warm aromas. The main ingredient is the precious CHESTNUT HONEY sourced from the slopes of MONTE GRAPPA which sits right next to our brewery. A sweet-tasting, full-bodied ale with a pleasantly bitter finish. A meditation ale ideal for cellaring to let it mature.

Bottle @ Ulfborg Easter Tasting, 2011. Pours dark unclear brown with a small creamy white head on top. Nose is sweet honey , candy and sugar. Sweet and cloying. Not bad, just sweet and one dimensional. Honey is not a fav.

Good fluffy white head, clear orange beer. Bready, sweet, molasses rather than honey, alcohol in the nose. Rubbery, chewy beer, with some bready notes, bit thick, and it seems, other grains than barley malt. The mouthfeel is again very rubbery, while the aftertaste carries this rubbery, sulphury notes off the charts. Seriously flawed beer, and where is the honey? Only other grains seem to manifest themselves.
