Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Some sweet burned caramel in the nose, roast and a whiff of smoke. Medium body, roasty, pumpernickel and burned caramel - even a whiff of caramel. Subdued bitterness. A mini-Bock. 150411

Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Rubyish amber colour with a small slightly off white head. Aroma is caramel, some sweetish malts, Flavour is caramel and some mildnotes of grains and grass. Still quite nice.

Bottle. Fat, light smoky roasted mal nose. Claret, fine carbonation, cappucino head. Chewy almond and honey roast base, subtly hopped, light metallic but broad. Easy on the restsugar, light sparkly dry mouthfeel. Exits with a bit roast on the tongue. Moreish and highly drinkable.

Bottle (kindly delivered by Quack-Duck!): reddish-amber coloured, smaller off-white head with a little lace; moderate to solid dark-malty nose with traces of dried fruits and molasses; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied, quite soft; subtle coffee-traces in the moderately sweet-malty finish. Decent brew.......

(bottle) Clear, dark brown colour with a beige mid-sized foamy head. Moderately sweet and nutty toast-malty aroma with caramel/toffee. Burnt bitter and moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Toast-malty and nutty taste with caramel and shy herbal notes; medium-dry toast-malty and faint hop bitter finish. Decent Dunkel. 09.IX.09

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear deep copper-brown colour, mid-sized head. Aroma of roasetd malts. Light-bodied, flavours of roasetd malt and unmalted grains, caramel, toffee and coffee. Unfortunately a bit watery. The flavours are fine but I’d like them to be more intensive and not so shy.
