Bottled (backlog). Slightly hazy reddish/ambery brown colour with a mediumsized creamy off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some grass as well as some wooden and mildly toffeeish notes. Flavour is very similar, but also has a slight tart wooden edge going with it.

Ambar oscura, de espuma blanquecina. Aroma malteado, con notas lupuladas y un toque agrio. Continua en el sabor, con clara base malteada dulce, caramelo. Final amargo.

shared by yespr at yespr tasting. cloudy light brown. almost no head. slightly roasted malty aroma , like a barley wine, wood, old beer. nice. flavor is malts, old hops, wood, quite nice.

Bottle 37,5 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy brown with a rough beige head. Roast, dark fruits and a little oak in the nose. Medium body, low carbonation, somewhat tart overripe fruit and again a subtle oaky edge. Some hops in the finish. A complex and interesting beer. 260911

Bottled. An brown beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of hops, malt, straw, and yeast. The flavor is sweet and sour with notes of brettanomyces, malt, caramel, and hops, leading to a bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.

37.5 cL bottle. Pours hazy to murky orange/brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, dense malty and solid grapefruity. Citric, solid bitter and grapefruity. Citric and fruity finish.Bitter, sticky and grapefruity finish.

Cloudy brown beer, small yellowish to beige head, non adhesive, non stable. Aroma: smoke, fruity, dirty yeast, rotten fruit. MF: light to no carbon, medium body. Taste: sour first, apple skin, bitter hops, bit fruity, some caramel. Aftertaste: quite bitter and still a little sour.

Das Bier ist deutlich weniger hopfenbetont als die Ausgangsversion, stattdessen ist das Bier trockener, die Betonung liegt mehr auf dem Malz, eine süßliche Komponente ist ebenfalls vorhanden, zudem ist es etwas alkoholischer. Den fehlenden Hopfen merkt man im Abgang deutlicher als zuvor, hier wirkt das Bier etwas wässrig, was vorher vom Hopfen verdeckt wurde. Stimmiger Nachgeschmack, in dem der Hopfen dann doch noch hervorkommt. Zudem wird der Schnapscharackter hervor. 11/11/12/11/13/11

Bottle at Jan & Charlottes tasting, Ulfborg, Denmark 09.04.11 cheers Jan & Charlotte Murky brown appearance but it was getting towards a bottom of the bottle pour. Some griity cocoa (sediment probably) some juicy fruitiness and a little warmth from the alcohol, bit of nut and chocolate coming through. A6 A3 T7 P3 Ov13 3.2

Bottle 375ml. @ UK-SCO Tasting in Ulfborg.Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, toasted - caramel, moderate hoppy, wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Flavor is first: sharp, then second: sweet. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feelis light metalic. [20110409]
