Bottle at home, 22/05/16 - Gusher Alert ! Lightly hazed golden amber with a well appointed egg shell white head. Nose is dusty hops, caramel, orange peel, lemon peel. Taste comprises light orange, lemon drizzle cake, noble hop licks, grassy. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close with citric zip. Ok ... over carbonated though.

Bottle from the Utobeer Stall. Pours med dark gold wih a fizzy white head. Aroma seems a bit spicy. Med body or nearly - pretty strong carbonation. Flavor is fairly spicy, somewhat citrus, with pale malt. Decently bitter and fairly hoppy.

330ml bottle from John’s Beer & Wine, St Ives. Pours clear gold. Aroma is light caramel. Taste is quite smooth and easy-drinking. Wasn’t expecting anything life-changing with these special editions, but this isn’t bad.. some soft caramel mingling with some smooth citrus. Nicer from cask by the pint in a pub I imagine.

Bottle from Tesco, Brighouse. Golden with a light carbonation and a very small head. Pleasantly hopped with a slight smoothness, sweetness, but mostly a citrus lemon and grapefruit that provide the ales bitterness. Has a decent nose in this respect.

Bottle from the Bottle Bank. Appearance - pale golden amber with a nice fluffy head. Nose - floral honey with some lemon. Taste - lemon and honey again, some almost shandy notes in fact. Palate - light to medium with a creamy texture and a long and fairly dry finish. Overall - serious radler type notes going on there. Decent!

330ml bottle from Tesco - Pale hazy yellow body, thin white head. Nose is light citrus, orange and mandarin. Slightly sweet, good long finish. Not too bad.

Almost clear pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Airy light malts, semi dry, little sweetness. Mild dry floralness. Trace of tangy fruits. Light dry finish. An uncharacteristically bland beer from Sharps, but it’s not terrible.

Bottle. Nose is grain, strawberry, slight mango; not a lot of citra. Taste is slight citrus and lime, leading to summer fruits from the yeast, some floral notes and a short dry finish. Mouthfeel is fine. A baffling single hopped beer, you can barely taste the Citra with the beer dominated by the yeast rather than the hops. No real resin or citrus, it’s a poor beer but is marked down for not delivering on it’s purpose.

330ml bottle as part of a selection pack from the brewery’s online store. Pours very clear gold, no head. Very, very clear for a bottle-conditioned beer... No sediment in the bottle either... Aromas are fresh, floral lemon and little else. Taste has more lemon, verging on the soapy. Lemon bitterness, light sweetness. Light body, thin texture. Bitter finish. OK.

Bottle, 2011. Aroma fresh citrusy, lemony. Hoppy. Golden colour. Taste is hoppy, lemony. Mild, thin bodied, but quite tasty and easily drinkable. Worthy session blond.
