On tap at Tree Folks pub in Rome-Italy. Pours black with some highlights, creamy brownish off white foam. Nose: toasted malts, bacon far away, basic hops. Mouth: easy drinking, some milky feel, burnt malts, hops are there but not aggressively characterizing it. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

(Cask at Gallows Bird Magna Carta Real Ale Festival 2015) The beer poured black. Its head was small and lightly brown. Aroma had malts, liquorice and pine. Palate was medium bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were smoke, liquorice, pine, burnt malts and low bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky, burnt and bitter. Not so good roasted and smoky brew.

Cask. Sheffield Tap. Clear, dark chestnut brown. Thick, bubbly, lasting tan head. Light roast malt. Lots of fruit, mostly citrus. Some dark toffee. A little mintiness. Some tropical fruit on the end. Taste is dry, and moderately bitter. Palate is smooth, although thereโ€™s a little astringency. Finishes dry, and zesty bitter. Good, but a little tart.
