Cask gravity at GBBF 2010. It’s sweet strawberry beer. Deep red. Yes, it’s fine, yes a bit of hop. Irish ale? No, don’t think so. Fruit led ESB.

6th August 2010. GBBF.
Clear amber beer. Residual suddy head. Light semi dry palate. A little toffee malt base. A light floral touch. Some repressed orange hop and even a whsiper of banana. Finishes semi dry.

From cask. Pours clear and golden deep amber with a fully gone head. Distinct caramelish and sligh hoppy aroma. Flavour is sweet caramelish and crisp hoppy. Smooth malty and roasted into a slight fruity and bitter finish.

Served on draft at the brewpub, 6/28/10. Pours a dark slightly hazy reddish copper color with a medium sized offwhite head. Good head retention and lacing. Malty aroma with notes of caramel and raisins. The taste is caramel, raisins, toffee, light nutty and anise-like notes and a leafy hop finish. Medium bodied. Tasty beer.
