Poured from a 16 oz can dated December 12, 2019. Aroma is coffee forward with light fruity and nutty notes. Moderate chocolate and roast notes with light caramel and toasted bread. Light alcohol notes. Pours back with dark brown hues and a small, thick, creamy, mocha head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Faint lacing and fairly long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with loads of dark chocolate and roast notes. Lighter caramel and toasted bread. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol spice. Lots of coffee notes that have a slight fruitiness and berry character. Mouthfeel is full bodied and sticky and creamy with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and low, but present alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice coffee stout. Thick, creamy and sticky with balanced sweetness and bitterness. Tons of coffee in both the aroma and flavor.
