Øllets fyl­di­ge smag med op­li­ven­de to­ner af ka­ra­mel pas­ser per­fekt til den fyn­s­ke mad. Og når rø­gen og frisk­he­den i ma­den mø­der hum­lens sød­me og bit­ter­hed i mun­den, sma­ger du plud­se­lig det bed­ste ved hele øen på én gang. For at gøre det hele ek­stra godt har vi brugt hele fire ty­per malt til Oden­se 1859: lys pils­ner­malt, mørk mün­ch­ner­malt og malt-ty­per, der gi­ver øl­let dets no­ter af ka­ra­mel og dej­li­ge far­ve.

330ml. bottle. @Chicky Grill, Copenhagen (Denmark). 10/05/2024 [#7.327 Global - #361 Denmark - #1 Royal Unibrew (My Danish Brewery #65)] Pours deep amber with a beige head. Aroma: caramel, brown sugar, bread and spiced malts. Taste: sugary and bready. Medium bodied. Next one, please!

500 ml bottle, as Godt Bryg Albani 1859, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 5.2%. Clear copper colour, large head, slightly off-white. Aroma of malts, caramel and brown bread. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements, very moderate hops. Decent enough.

Tap at Biergarten in Tivoli gardens. Amber colored and foamy head. Nose is malty and caramel. Tastes the same of dark breads and sweet malts some earth. Not too bad.

Sample (as Godt Bryg Albani 1859, thanks fonefan!). Amber colour, small head. Aroma is caramel, some wood and mild sweetness. Flavour is having pretty the same elements as the aroma, very sweet, and not much bitterness.

Tap. Chestnut to red amber, offwhite lace. Sweet caramel, light roast. Medium body, light sticky, mellow chewy. Caramel, sweet, dry roast. Could be more exiting.

Sample, thanks fonefan! Clear copper colour, small head. Aroma oe Earl Grey tea with notes of butter. Really sweet with medium body and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Caramel and butter, syrup and bergamott. Low bitterness. Way too sweet.

Bottle @ Albanigade. Pours amber copper with a white head. Grains and a bit of caramel. Corn. Syrupy. Thin. Discount feel.

Pours dark amber with a small white head. 33cl Bottle @ Dagli Brugsen, Odense. Sweet and nutty with a bit of butter and caramel. Medium bodied.
