Large tight white head on a hazy dull golden coloured body.
Biscuit, cereal & citrus aroma.
Medium bodied, foamy smoothing to leave a fuller cloying back.
Lemon, herbal, chalky & bubble gum tastes tastes with a tangy finish.
Top drawer.

Whoa. What’s with the hyphen?! Bottle. Chantry Inn, Handsworth, Sheffield. Never in a bazillion years did I think I’d be able to drink Kernel in the old Cross Keys. Anyway. 5.3%. Moderate haze on a pale, straw gold. Standard Kernel swede. Nose has bright, mineraly citrus. Soft piny notes. Super clean malts. Lots of fruit here. Taste is nicely balanced, sweet and mineraly bitter. Clean and bright mouthfeel. Foamy carbonation. Light bitterness to finish. Great beer in what has always been the best boozer on the East side of Sheffield.

Bottled 18.6.2019@5.3%. Out of retirement. From Clapton Craft NW5. Minerally nose, grapefruit, sulfur, light pale malts. Grapefruit pith and light catpiss as well. Glowing hazy gold with a thick, high head. Sweet honey malts and strong, grassy, bitter hops. Lemon, grapefruit, lots of zest and pith and big, big bitterness. Almost goes dry from the bitterness, though the sweetness lingers until mid-palate. Some interesting tropical fruit notes in there as well. COmplex and interesting.

Clear golden with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and rather hoppy - peach and citrus. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 221211

Bottle. Clear amber with medium off-white head. Aroma is malt, caramel, fruit, hops and citrus. Flavour is malt, caramel, fruit,little peach, hops, pine, and bitter.

Bottle. Nice creamy head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are rich hops, peach, citrus, flowers and malt.

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a samll white head. Has a fruity malty fresh hoppy citrus aroma. Fruity malty hoppy citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy citrus finish.

bottle at papsoe tasting. cloudy orange, smooth white head. hopy flowery aroma, mild malty, fresh. flavor is malty, fresh and tasty hoppy.
