On tap at Goblet Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, small brown head, bourbon barrel and some alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, dried fruits, dark chocolate, light bourbon barrel and touch of vanilla with noticable alcohol. Potent.

Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, coffee and heavy bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and light bitter. Very sweet finish with a little warming alcohol. Oily and soft. 020525

thanks omhper! Pitch black, tiny head. Aroma is liquorice, toffee, some alcohol, mild chocolate and some slight toasted tones. Flavour is liquorice, toffee, alcohol, chocolate, vanilla and some spiciness. Alcohol gives a burn in the finish, otherwise quite nice and pleasant.

pours dark brown with nearly no head, looks like a BA stout alright.
aroma is strong with strong notes from bourbon, also quite some roasted malts, lots of wood, salt licorice, faint chocolate, the "lakridskonfekt" effect is there, but not overwhelming, faint coconut. if aroma can be said to have an end, the far end of the aroma is pretty heavy on the roasted malts.
flavor is salt licorice, wood, bourbon, roasted malts, charred wood, booze. A traditional BA imp stout from before everything went pastry-crazy. Good one at that.

Bottled, from Het Biermeisje. Near black, minimal head. Bourbony nose with caramel and coconut. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Caramel, tracle and lots of bourbon. Mildly warming mid bitter finish.

Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up from Dissident. Pours black with a small, foamy brown head. Medium to big sweet flavour with nicely layered dark malts, some bourbon, ash, chocolate, raisins, booze, earth, burnt toffee. Full bodied, oily and lightly chewy, with fine carbonation. Hot finish, further bourbon, smoked wood, cocoa, dried dark fruits, toasted marshmallows. Very tasty brew overall. Punchy but not over the top.
