This mid-brown beer is wonderfully full bodied and malty. A classic ’best’ and an established local favourite which aims to please and succeeds time and time again. Definitely moreish!

Cask at the Wharf, Aalborg, DK. Clear, copper. Small white head. No carbonation. Harsh aroma, hops and malt, with some licorice and chemical notes. Bitter and piney flavor with some off-notes. Medium to thin body, and a long, mild bitterness in the finish. (060525)

A dark red beer with almost no head - at least from cask. It has a slight fruity aroma. And tastes of fruit and the cask it's been maturing on, it ends of on a great hoppy bitterness and a sligtly metalic aftertaste. All in all a good beer.
