Cask at CPK, London on 13 April 2011. Clear amber with thin white part-lacing head. Sweetish aroma then ginger notes and a strong grapefruit and lemon citrus flavour. Then a grapefruity citrus end on a fairly thick but smooth mouthfeel.

Cask at the Wharf. A semi clear golden beer with a cask style off-white head. The aroma is quite citrusy and peachy, some biscuity malts in the back. Smooth on the palate, medium body. There’s some bitterness in the flavor, biscuity malts in the back and some citrus and a touch of peaches. Smooth finish. A real thirst quencher. 110417

On cask at Christian Firtal. Slightly hazy dark golden with a small white head. Aroma of grassy and herbal hops. Dry and grassy hop flavour with a hint of grapefruit peel. Great bitterness. Not quite as crisp as the Brewers Gold or as inviting fruity as Amarillo, but close enough.
