(750ml bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours a clear medium purple-red with a fizzy, almost instantly disappearing whitish head that leaves no trace. Aroma is quite sour, black currant, lemon, lactic, tart apple, blackberry that’s not jammy but still a bit sweet, some slightly earthy or mulchy notes, leaves, light tannic character. As it breathes, it becomes substantially less lemony on the nose and the richness of currants and blackberries becomes more pronounced. Flavour is very sour, high on lactic acid/lemon juice in particular, biting black currants, tart/bitter fruit skins, underripe blackberries, quite light mulchy funk notes, with a mineral crispness. Sour is the very dominant note throughout however. Light bodied with very high soda pop carbonation. Some breathing really improved this, but it’s still a bit too sour for me to totally love.

Clear deep ruby red beer, practically no head. Aroma: tannins, acidic, bit earthy, fruity. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: very acidic, very fruity, lots of tannins, sour, bit lemony. Aftertaste: more fruit, blackberries, very dry, some black currants, acidic, lemon juice, vinegar, too sourish to my liking.
