Bottle shared by Dutchdrebus. Opaque black color, medium to full sized beige to light brown head that lasts for a long time. Aroma reminds me of a black IPA rather than a sweet stout. Malts, dark malts, hops, a bit grassy. Taste malts, indeed slight lacto in the flavor, hops, slightly sweet and some bitter, brown malts. Decent body and carbonation. Well, in a blind tasting I don’t think I would have identified this as a sweet stout but it’s quite tasty.

Bottle. Dark pour. Aroma is indeed of a brownie, malt and chocolate. Taste has earthy malt, milky creamy chocolate and a bitter hoppy finish. Good.

On tap at Kimchi 2016. Black with a small beige head. Aroma is a shock after seeing it. Massive fresh nettles, weeds, really green and fresh with stouty notes of chocolate, roast and caramel coming out when you take a sip. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation. [13/08/2016]
