Boks 0,5l fra Eurospar Kræmer i Tromsø. Gyldenbrun. 0.5l can. Pours a clear, mildly golden body with a small off-white lager head. Nose is surprisingly OK with some floral notes along side with the normal lager-caramel malts. Light bodied and medium+ carbonation. The flavors are quite mild, but it has more fullness than their "original" pilsner. Slightly bitter ending from the grassy hops and relatively drinkable - for a Norwegian pilsner that is. Said on the can that this is the most noble brew they ever have created. It might be, but it's still boring and blend.

golden with white head - some malts and hops - taste is the same malt with hints of hops - perhaps a little more malt than the regular Ringnes, but still an average beer

500ml can from my local Prix store. Crystal clear, light golden body with a loose, white head. Modest, but fresh-dry, smell of pale malts. Subdued taste profile with pale malts and dusty hops. Distant bitterness can be recognized towards the mid-dry ending. Soft carbonated and clean tasting. Food friendly. Over par for a Norwegian lager (shared with frau Eva, Tromsø 20.02.2011).

Can 50 cl. Clear golden with a short lived with head. A minor malty aroma with some caramel sence. Light bitter malty flavor, boring.

Can. A dark golden to amber beer topped by a medium coarse, two finger off-white head leaving some lacings. The aroma is surprisingly hoppy and fruity, considering the brewery, with a malty background where there’s also room for some notes of caramel. Even the flavor has hops, a good dash of bitterness towards the end. Well, that’s pushing it a bit, but at least it’s bitter compared to most products from Ringnes. A bit sweet maybe, with fruityness and caramel, and towards the end, a touch of metal. Full-bodied and smooth, although a tad to rude on the carbonation. A decent beer this one, still I doubt it will be around very long. 110208

500 ml can. Clear golden body with a thin white head that fades quickly. Weak aroma, feels a bit sweet and fat, light malt, hint of caramel and vegetables. Flavor is slightly sweet malty, hint of caramel and not much hop is detected. Body is somehow soft, not particular refreshing, more like sweet and slightly harsh with medium everything. Just a bit more flavor than the ordinary Ringnes pilsner, but the Ringnes signature is definitively present.

500 ml can, ABV 4.5%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Moderate "dusty" aroma, some malts, a hint of caramel and grassy hops. The flavour is tolerably hoppy throughout (at least more than the ordinary Ringnes Pilsner), with hints of caramel and a fairly bitter finish.
