Shared bottle at "Mandag i annen", Cardinal. Pours hazy brown with beige head. Aroma malty-fruity, nothing special. Malty taste, but not heavy. Caramel and roast-hops bitterness. A bit for bitter for my taste ("too bitter for style", though I’m not a style guide maniac).

500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Also bought from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.3%. Deep brown colour, moderate off-white to beige head. Pleasant aroma of fruity hops. Some biscuity malts in the background. Flavour of fruity hops, caramel, lightly roasted malts and brown bread, some hop bitterness in the finish. A remarkably solid take on a beer style that rarely blows my socks off. Well done Coisbo!

Bottle. Pours dark brown with a small creamy head. Aroma is dark roasted malts with coffee, cocoa and some whiffs of anise. Medium bodu with quite light texture and average carbonation. Flavour is sweet with roasted malts and cocoa and kandi, as well as fruity yeast with prunes and molasses.

Duft av frukter og malt. Dyp brun farge. Tykt dekkende skum. Smak av malt og krydder, greit til mat.

Bottle. Pours cloudy dark copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel, nuts and fruit. Bitter, roasty flavour, with sweetish notes of caramel malt and nuts. Creamy mouthfeel. Mildly bitter aftertaste. A decent Brown Ale.

Flaske 0,5l fra Vinmonopolet, bestillingsutvalget. Drukket på R124 26 Apr 13. Dyp rødbrun. Høyt kremaktig skum med mye lacing. God maltaroma med innslag av karamell. Smaken det samme med en syrlig avslutning.
