0.5l bottle from #5. This one pours a deep dark brown body, not possible too see through it and it has a small town medium sized light bubbly and light lacing brown top. On the nose I get tones of chocolate and fruity hops. It has a nice non extreme sweetness also, almost like chocolate ice cream. It's definitely not too complex, but I have to admit that I like what I smell. It has a really soft carbonation level dangerously near too flat and it's gliding oily in the mouth. Lots and lots of sweet milky chocolate and chocolate ice cream in the taste. Vanilla tones and a decent amount of sweetness here. Roasted nuts and it's actually a quite identifiable alcohol present here. Did not expect that from a lightweighter like this. Lots of flavor in a mild brown ale. Ends light chalky. Not bad at all. 28.10.2013

500ml bottle from Meny Oslo City, shared with other ratebeerians at Cunningham’s place. Opaque dark brown pour supported by a fair, fawn-coloured head. Brown candied sweet malts on the nose. More prominent taste profile with mid-sweet roasted brown malts, hints of nuts and caramel. Dusty hops to the ending. Medium to thin bodied. A tad too sweet, otherwise an okay version of the style. Aroma: Malty, fruity and some roasted malt.
Palate: Medium + body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Toffee, malty, fruity and some roasted malt.
Overall impression: My second try with this brewery was far better.

Bottle, shared by Rune. An unclear brown beer topped by a small, beige head. Roasted aroma with coffee and some brown sugar. A bit sweet on the palate, with coffee flavor and a pleasant bitterness. Roasted malts too. Mostly roasted finish, with sweetness at too high levels. A decent one, nothing more. 140214
