Our namesake IPA is a Northwest classic. Generous additions of organic NW hops find their way into the kettle, hop-back, and dry-hop. This judicious use of the "brewers spice" creates rich and resinous flavors of citrus fruit and pine. The finest organic Canadian pilsner malt and organic German Munich and Caramunich malts then bring balance to your new favorite beer." Show Less

From can with IH at Hegglandslia 16.03.18. Clear golden. Formy and persistent head and lacing. Refreshing aroma of citrus, marmalade and mango. Similar taste, with some pale malt fullness. Solid citrus bitterness. Very quaffable! --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 01 Feb 2016 at 11:19 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Original review text: From tap at Bøker & Børst with JMD 01.02.16. Slightly hazy golden. Off-white head and lacing. Aroma and taste of American hops, citrus and marmalade, balanced with pale malt. Medium high grapefruit bitterness lingering on, becoming astringent rather than refreshing.

Can. The colour is slightly hazy dark amber with a big creamy light beige head. Fruity aroma of grapefruit, pine, grass and pineapple. The flavour is similar and quite fruity. Has a slick mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. A fruity and well-balanced IPA.

On tap @ Både &. Unclear golden with a nice off-white head. Aroma is dominated by hops, citric fruit, peach and fresh grass, but also some pale malt. Flavor has some pale malt as a basic but the hops dominates here as well. Strong citric, peach, marmalade and some grassy/herbal finish. It’s almost a bit like tasting hop pellets, but in a positive way with a decent malt base. Fine balanced body and long lasting bitter aftertaste. Got this very fresh, but it one of the finest IPA I have had in a long time. Solid, in your face no nonsense IPA.

Bottle from Brewers Haven. Milky orange golden body with small bubbly head. Mildly sweet aroma, some hops , some malts. Taste brings on additional sweetness, some citrus fruitiness. Gentle hops bitterness at the back. Classic IPA, well balanced.

Can at home. Semi-hazy caramel pour with a medium height tan head with OK retention. Aroma notes of caramel, dank cellar and citrus. The taste follows the same notes, with an addition of green grass, herbal hops, a bit of honey, Medium body and carbonation, smooth and velvety texture and a bitter-sweet finish. Another great example of an old-school, malt-forward, super-smooth IPA.
