This immensely crushable pale is brewed with some of our favourite fruit-forward hops. Bright aromas of pink grapefruit, mango and orange rind follow through into the flavour that ends with a piney and zippy bitterness.

31/1/2024. Cask at the 15th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours hazy/cloudy pale yellow gold with a small frothy white head. Aroma is tropical, citrus, gooseberry, white grape, grass, straw. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness, touch tart. Moderate body, slightly watery, lightly fizzy. Nice fruity finish. Enjoyed this.

Can delivered from the brewery and drunk at home. Light gold, almost straw. Slightly hazy with a large loose white head. Lots of fruit in the aroma: grapefruit, apple, lemon zest, melon and pear. Taste is mostly sweet and a bit creamy with a tinge of bitterness mid-sip. Finish is slightly more bitter, with white grapefruit and sour apple. Heavy carbonation. It's a real treat. This brewery makes some wonderful pales.

440ml can; BB 14th July 19. Poured into a La Chouffe tulip glass at home (twice) on 8th April 19. Misty yellow body, decent white crown on both pours. Oranges and grapefruits in both the aroma and taste for me, mango maybe. Fine.

Half-pint, keg, shared with Finn at Adelphi in Preston. Large white tophead slowly fading over a cloudy golden body. Spotty lacing. Moderate smell of pine and bread. Fruity taste of orange, pineapple, and juicy malts. Mid-dry fruit hoppy end. Satisfying. (05.02.2019).
