Amber colour with an off white head. Caramel malty and light grassy aroma. Medium to light body, slightly sweet and light hoppy. Dominating caramel malty flavour with a light grassy finish.

33cl bottle from Rema Mosseskogen. Pours clear, deep amber with a small off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel, hints of spices and some weak roasty notes. Quite sweet and caramelly with just a light bitterness in the finish. Quite close to the average industrial shop strenght Chrismas beer in Norway, maybe slightly more flavour. Drinkable, but quite boring.

0.33l bottle @ RBNAG11. Pours a clear light copper-bronze body with a sidesticking bubbly just off-white head. Aroma is low with tones of spices, malts and something light burned. Average carbonation with a medium light oily mouthfeel. OK flavors actually, has some thin malty tones, flower-water and some light burned undertones with malts. Absolutely OK, but not any good.

Shared bottle, RBNAG 2011. ABV 4.7%. Reddish brown colour, moderate off-white head. Moderate aroma and flavour of wort, dust and a little caramel. Not at all impressive.

Bottle. A clear, amber beer with a finger-thick, off-white head. Weak, papery nose with caramel doing most of the job. Weak flavor too, caramel, wet cardboard and some fruityness, finishing with a short malty flavor. Medium body. An unrefreshing and boring beer with little taste and aroma. The low levels of taste and aroma might be a good thing, as what is there isn’t very pleasant. 110204
