Another 330ml bottle shared by Finn. Good looking, presenting a clear, golden-brown body and a relatively big, chalk white head. Earthy and bready malts to the nose. Sweet, malty base to the taste buds, notes of herbal hops. Rather unvaried and too sweet, but quite possible to quaff. Passable (session at Finns in Tromsø, 09.02.2012).

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty dark fruit caramel aroma. Sweetish malty dark fruit and caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty dark fruit finish.

Amber color; generous and compact head. The aroma is more leaning on generic cereals than malt; and nuts. Slim body, light caramel flavor, and a lot of boredom.

0.33l bottle, courtesy of and shared with ClubGonzo. Pours a clear deep orange body with a thin side sticking off-white head. Aroma is quite malty with notes of thin hops, a little alcohol and some dark caramel. Body is medium, has a nice slick mouthfeeling and is softly carbonated. Sweet and malty flavors with notes of bitter grapes and bread. Ends with a low almost light pungent bitterness. Not much more to say I guess. I've had much better heller bocks.

Bottle. A clear, amber beer with a small, beige head. Fruity on the nose, with faint hint of dms and coffee. Yellow apples, some caramel and dried fruits and a touch of alcohol too. Smooth on the palate, full bodied and with some alcohol warmth. Mostly fruity, lots of yellow apples and a good dash of raisins. Long finish with yellow apples and some dried fruits. Alcohol too. Not bad indeed, but still not a favorite, even among the pale bocks. 110304
