Brunorange farge med offwhite skum. Lukter malt og karamell. Lett syrlig i munnfølelse. Malt og noe syrlige frukter. På fat Ølstugan. 4,8%. God.

Bottle @ Saxo tasting. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and toffee. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet finish. 230719

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, malt, hops and has a sweet malty caramel finish.

Cask at Akurrat, Stockholm. This looked like a nice red ale but tasted like a Guinness. Very weird for the profile and a terribly clingy end. Qudos for trying cask in Sweden but a bit of work to go here... (3/11/17) Bottle from Systembolaget. 2.7 to 2.5. Some moments of ok british style caramel malt flavours but overall just not a great ale.

On tap at Ölstugan 1892 Tullen Andra Långgatan Göteborg. (labeled as Ocean Ölstugan Tullen Red Ale) Clear reddish/copper with a small head. Aroma and taste of malt, some fruit, caramel, bread and some light notes of berries. The body was light and the aftertaste was short. An ok one.

Keg as ’Tullens Red’ at Ölstugan 1892 Tullen Andra Lång , Goteborg, 21/03/14. Reddish amber with a moderate light beige head. Nose is biscuit malt, light hops, caramel, pinch of spice, berry fruit, light perfumed notes. Taste comprises caramel, berry fruit, light hops, pertty simple stuff. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for style I guess but ultimately in the bland and boring camp.
