Courtesy of Blazer06. Pours mahogany with light tan head and spotty lacing. The aroma has dates, raisins, brown sugar and some molasses. The taste is rough with black pepper, plums, abrasive dates, raisins and plums mixing with brown sugar and fig juice. Hmm.

Acquired via trade. The beer is a murky dark amber-brown color with a medium thin and foamy beige head that recedes steadily. Thin sheet of lacing on the glass. Aroma of dark fruits and yeast. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, yeast and figs/dark fruits. The finish is sweet caramel and spices. Above average overall.

22 ounce bottle courtesy of fata2683. Thanks! Pours a dark but translucent brown color. A medium sized head with good head retention and lacing. Aroma of toffee with bread, yeast and chocolate. Also some pear-like fruit notes. The taste is berries, toffee, brown sugar, bread, yeast, green apple and moderate booze. Medium-full bodied.

A tip of the bottle releases a dark brown brew that throws up a tall head of tan that laces the glass as it falls in true Belgian fashion. Strong aroma of molasses that is almost licorice like. Sweet, full bodied and very smooth. Iโ€™m thinkinโ€™ BSP refers to the Brick Store Pub. Good Quad. Yummmm.....

Bomber from craftbeerdesign. Thanks guy. Really looking forward to this. Pours a very dark brown with a 1 finger foamy beige head. Aroma is formidible. Dark malt. Strangely floral aroma. Full bodied with foamy carbonation. Flavor has a lot of smooth dark fruit, and thereโ€™s a lot of roasted malt for backbone. This stuff can almost be chewed. Mildly sweet, mildly bitter. Full of flavor. Heat is not detectable. Big heavy brew with great taste. Maybe a treacle/toffee finish. Great ale.

Cask at Brewvival: Mild tobacco, wheat, and candied aroma. Clear garnet brown, medium yellow head. Slightly funked dark roasted malt flavor with subdued candi sugar. Brown sugar finish. Alcohol evident. Good taste, but not as exotic as I hoped.
