Bottle, from Papsoe. Pale golden and small white head. Burnt plastic and pale malts in the aroma, some fruits and a touch of wet cardboard. All toned down after some minutes in the glass. The flavor is grainy and cardboardy, some fruity notes and maybe a hint of bitterness. Medium to thin on the palate. The forgot to add aftertaste in this one, guess that’s just fine, it’s a beer I prefer not to taste much of. 110219

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear yellow with a white head. Pleasant aromatic hops in the nose. Thin body, oddly biscuity but no feel of malt at all. Finish is dry. 180211

Clear yellow without head. Clearly this wasn’t meant to be poured into a glass. Aroma is light malty and straw much like German pilseners, which isn’t surprising considering that it’s brewed in Germany. Flavor is medium sweet and very light bitter. Light bodied and watery. The finish has a very strange and undescribeable feeling, which is no doubt from the caffeine, and it totally ruins this beer which was otherwise a substandard pale lager. This is one of the worst beers I have ever had. 090211 I read an interview with the owner of Cult. He expected to have a market share of 5-8 % in Denmark in a few years. It will take a lot of clever marketing directed at teenagers, who haven’t tried proper beer yet, to get this high, cause this beer isn’t doing the work by itself.
