Clear golden. Aroma is grain cornflakes stale hops. Taste is bitter stale hops. Bitter beery aftertaste. A bit harsh and not so nice hops.

Tap. Golden, clear, white foam. Aroma: spicy-flower hops, light malt. Taste: dense malt, candy, rather strong hop bitterness, herbal-spicy, not bad.

Look: clear pale yellow with a moderate white frothy head of average retention. Aroma: pilsner malt, spicy noble hop. Taste: light sweet and light to medium bitter. Clean and crisp. Pilsner malt, noble hop. Palate: light body, lively carbonation. Overall: a highly drinkable pilsner.

Tap at Kastanie, Berlin. Golden color with thick white head. Aroma of malt, light noble hops. Malty taste with light diacetyl, followed by bitter hops. Nothing wrong with this beer.

Surprisingly, not crystal clear, golden, with a frothy white head. The aroma is very metallic, obscuring the pale malts, minimal spicy hop. The metal aerates after a while. The taste is moslty aromatic rich pils malts, with a solid spicy finish. Smooth carbonation and mouthfeel. Pretty solid, maltier pils.

Bottle at the Wine Collection, Kata Beach, Phuket, Thailand. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is light sweet malt, light toffee caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light watery dry floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation.

(bottle) Almost clear, pale golden colour with a blond medium-sized foamy head. Strawy and delicately milky pale malty aroma with shades of grassy hops. Moderately sweet and restrained bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Strawy malty base with hints of cardboard and shy grassy accents; sweet and mildly bitter hoppy, slightly grassy finish with notes of cardboard and traces of metal. A tad unclean and not very convincing. 24.X.14
