Big light brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish roasted, yeast, roasted grain, broth, sour coffee, dark berries, toast, grass, lactose, caramel, licorice. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish roasted, grass, roasted grain, yeast, dark malts, lactose, toast, dark berries, caramel, dark sugar. Medium bitterness, slightly dry milky mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

330 ml bottle, No. 1031, from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. BB date was 31.12.2013. ABV 6.9%. Black colour, low tan head. Aroma of roasted malts and black bread, burnt breadcrumbs and dark chocolate, a hint of liquorice. The fairly dry flavour has the same elements as the aroma, with some nutty notes to boot. Not bad.

Black with small offwhite ring. Roasted and funky aroma. Flavour is roasted, funky and with hints of dark chocolate. Light, but well balanced. Good one.

Bottle @ D-Day in Mojnlandet :-) Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable tan head. Clear aroma of malt with sourish notes of coffee beans. Roasty flavour with notes of malt and oak barrel and alcohol. Bitter, dry and roasty aftertaste. Nice butbrather different fro what I understand to be a typical Baltic Porter.

Bottle, 6.9%. Citric aroma, a little infected-like, perhaps lambieky. Black colour. Small light brown head. The flavour is also citric, infected-like. But it goes OK with the dark and slightly sweet malt base. Has a sort of fruity sourness. Late note of dark malts, but not too bitter and not too roasted.

Some wine like notes on first whiff, near black beer with thick, creamy beige head.Aroma is oak barrel, peat, coffee. Taste is smooth, yet sharp. Overall mouthfeel is slick. Lingering bitter aftertaste.

Bottle. It’s an almost black one, hazy, and topped by a dense, finger-thick light tan head. The aroma is roasted and chocolatey, with toffee and a touch of something sourish. Rather similar flavor, with the added joy of some bitterness from the hops. Medium to full body, quite dry on the palate, with a pleasant level of carbonation. Some bitterness in the else roasted finish. A quite decent beer, nothing extraordinary. 120914
