Bottle. Pours clear reddish brown with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, rye bread, brown sugar, port wine and prunes. Taste is medium to very sweet, light to medium bitter and faint acidic. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, caramel, brown sugar, port wine, prunes and rye bread. Almost barley wine-like.

Flaske 500ml. Gave fra Skinnyviking. Delt med djoeye under romjulsrating på Nerstranda 30 Des 15. Mørk amber. Høyt tett skum som daler sakte. Tynn tett lacing. Aroma av søte mandler. Smaken fortsetter mandelpreget. Nærmest mandelkjernepudding. I søtligste laget - men god.

Mild krydderaroma. God balanse sødme/krydderier/bitterhet. Avrundet slutt. Ingen skarpe kanter her, men heller ingen markant profil.

From a bottle as Julerød 2012, Ølfestival København 13. Clear, dark amber coloured body. Dried and spiced fruity aroma. Sweet malts, dark berries, and dried fruity flavours. Rounded ended with a little spiced bitterness. Warming alcohol. Nice season qualities in this one (Copenhagen 25.05.2013).
