Black with a ruby hue. Lasting tan head. Aroma of fruit, chocolate and grain. Sweet, grainy malt flavour with some caramel, licorice and roast character. Cloying sweet after a short while

Draft. A very dark brown beer with a dark brown bead. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, bread, and lots of caramel, as well as a bit of roasted malt, leading to a dry roasted finish.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting , March, 2011. Pours black with a creamy beige head. Nose is bread and chocolate. Flavor is vague roast and fruit. Medium bodied.

Bottle 500ml.Clear dark dark red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, caramel, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, malt and hop bitter, licorice, coffee, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110208]

pitch dark brown, large smooth light brown head. fresh flowery aroma, too mild base of roasted stuff. flavor is flowery hoppy, roasted malty, malty, caramelly, sweet. sort of quenching but lacks some more ooomph, given the 7% abv

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malt and solid hops bitter, Dark malty, roasted and dark chocolate. Lingering dark malty and solid hoppy. Bitter and dark roasted malty finish.
