Bottle 750ml.[ Trade by Papsoe ]. Clear dark almost black color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, brown cake (brunkager), licotice - star anis. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark roasted, coffee, chocolate, spicy, licorice. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110208]

pitch dark, smooth, light brown head. roasted stuffy herbal citrussy aroma. nice flavor of roasted malts, hops, licorice. very nice palate. ends roasted, malty , nice.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours an opaque pitch black with a creamy cappuchinoish light brown head. Hard roast nose with some ginger spice. Solid body, low carbonation, hard roast malts and dark dried fruits with some gingery spice. Warming alcohol finish. 130211

75 cL bottle. Pours dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is herbal and light fruity. Slight spiced. Sweet dark malty and roasted. Light liqourice. Thick malty and roasted. Light bitterness to a dark malty note. Ends dry and dark.
