nice amber pour, a good aroma of sweet malt, and some american hops. the hemp seems to be adding a buttery caramel flavour to this beer, with some nice nutty after tones. an interesting beer.

Dégustée et évaluée en Juin 2010. De couleur brune avec une belle mousse onctueuse et épaisse. Très persistante. Elle présente un nez très malté avec en bouche des notes de caramel très prononcé. Elle est douce et agréable.

Not bad at all. Kind of tastes like an EPA or a bitter. Pours cloudy orange with great carpet lacing and good head. Some caramel malt and a slightly bitter Hoppy finish. Tap at brewpub.

Sampled at the brewpub, in company of S8n on September 17, 2005. This red hemp ale pours a beautiful cream white head with good retention, leaving a nice creamy coat. Its colour is golden-amber and red. The lacing left is great. The aromas are of hop and alcohol, but not too strong. Mild creamy and dry mouthfeel, and quite smooth. Good bitterness in the taste, throughout, with slight grain malt and a dry finish. Nice bitter red ale.

Bottle thanks to Dany. Pours clear amber. White head. Nose is sea water, salt, hops, sweet malt, grass and chlorinated cleaning agents. Something’s off. Taste is mostly caramel and chlorine - with some sweet malt, light herbal notes and mild grassy hops. Medium body.

Bottle, courtesy of Enjoyit. A hazy, orange-brown beer with a dense, beige head. The aroma is mostly hoppy, with resins and lemon. Malty sweetness too. The flavor is also quite bitter, some herbal notes blend in, and there’s a malty lightly caramel flavor too. Bitter finish. Full-bodied and nicely carbonated. A quite nice one, but sort of disappears in the crowd. 110129

(Bottle, Bishop’s Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm) Amber colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, orange peel, marmalade and hints of herbs (can’t really pinpoint the hemp, though). Fruity taste with caramel, orange, dried apricots and a generous, but well balanced, citrussy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, fairly sweet. Well balanced and quite tasty.
