Cask (Anchor Inn, Cowes) - Dark brown with red tinges. Coffee and roasted malt in the aroma. Coffee, nuts and raisins in the taste.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 21/3/2017. Dark brown in colour, with a thin, beige, head. Leafy hop, berry fruit and toasted malt aroma. Flavour had brown sugar and dark berry sweetness, and bready malts leading to a toasty, yet fairly gentle, finish. Fine.
