Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, malty, spicy, more and more yeasty, quite dry. Wheaty notes, a bit bready. Okay.

Bottle shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising during day 3 of the Bamberg Jolly of January 2015. Pours cloudy golden brown with a foamy, quickly fading white head. Pretty basic but tasty, with plenty of bready malts, toasted cereal, light caramel. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet and simple to finish, further bread and caramel. Nice enough.

Bamberg jolly day 3 26/01/2014. Bottle shared on the train. Clouded dark orange coloured pour, with a greyish big head. Aroma is orange, bready dough. Flavour is carbonic acid bite, tart banana and shapr acid in the finish. Pretty bad.

Day 3 of the post Xmas Bamberg Jolly, bottle from the Rewe Bamberg shared on the train from Nuremberg to Freising, 26/01/14. Hazed roange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light toffee, yeast, spice, banana. Taste pretty much follows, thinned down dunkleweizen all the way. Light end of medium body, moderate carbonation. Low alcohol for style ? A lot of ambiguity in the German beers on this database with many sub 3% beers littered between varying styles when it’s not really fair to hold them up against the style they are classed as due to their ’Leichte’ status !

Geschmack leicht hefig, leicht würzig, leicht fruchtig.

Bamberg Bash Day 3. Train swig. Very hazy amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is light and airy. Modest carbonation. Light lactose. Little tang. Fresh air! Dry finish. A bit rubbish!

a) 9. October 2013:
50 cl. The only low alcoholic dunkles Weizen I know of. Dark reddish in the glass with a stable beige head. The beer starts mild, light. Nice. Due to its lightbeer-character, it is quite tasty, not watery or something. The yeast is visible all the time, it is thirst-quenching, refreshing as it should be. The aftertaste is long, typical characters of a dunkles Weizen are as well there as the typical yeast. Hints of caramel and toffee are there as well.
--> Nice low alcoholic brew!

b) 6. Februar 2009:
-->Tolles Light-Bier! Schmeckt weitaus besser als einige „normale“ dunkle Weizen!

Purchased this at a Orterer Getrenmarkt in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Bavaria, Germany 30.05.12 consumed Wednesday 27th June 2012 Amber, clear with a white head. Nose is a little sharp, this is thin tastes a little like a low alcohol beer. Not a fan of this, bit gassy, bit boring, bit throwable. A5 A3 T4 P2 Ov9 2.3
