Bottle shared. Very hazy amber with a small off white head. Aroma of caramel, sweet malt, toffee, butterscotch and a little boozy alcohol. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Medium to full bodied with soft carbonation. [12/08/2016]

33cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Kermis. Thin creamy white head. Very hazy amber pour. A very nice barley wine.

Bottle @ ZZT 2016-1. Aroma of malt, resinous hops and pine. Weird bitter taste of pine, spicey malt and booze. Not my thing.

Warm amber golden colour, dissipating white head. Aroma of malts, honey, chestnut, raisins and vanilla. Malty flavour, sweet malts, quite bitter. Sweet finish, malts and hops.

Bottle @ ZZT 2016-1, small sample. Thanks all for sharing! Slight hazy copper color, short frothy head. Aroma of caramel, sweet cookie, bit raisin. Cloying sweetness in taste. Bit unbalanced.

330 ml. bottle sampled @ ZZT 2016-1. Neat label. BBF 15.04.2017. Dark brown amber with no head. Nose is pleasant oxidiation-like barley wine notes, sweet chestnuts, maple good, sugar, vanilla, candy, sweet thick malt, lovely. Taste is thick malt, sugar, honey, maple, caramel, sugar, candy, toffee,… Pleasant thick goop rich Barley Wine with low almost oxidation-like notes in the best way,… thick bodied, caramel, sugar toffee. Warming, quite pleasant, I really enjoyed it.

Bottle @ ZZT 2016-1. Hazy caramel colour with a small beige head. Smells sweet, malt, wort, sweet. Tastes sweet, raisins, alcohol, malty, deep. Full body, soft carbo.

Sampled from bottle @ ZZT 2016-1. Hazy orange brown color, small white lacing. Aroma is exactly what it should be imo: malts, sweet, caramel and hops. Taste is malts, very bitter, over the top bitter actually and quite alcoholic. Medium body, medium carbonation. The aroma is very nice but the flavor is less good unfortunately.

Butelka 330ml z datą ważności do15.04.2017/A1, temperatura degustacji 14-16 stopni +, szkło teku. Aromat: słodkie owoce tropikalne (przypominające liczi, bardzo dojrzałe wręcz przejrzałe mango, ananas), delikatnie rodzynki, bardzo dobrze ukryty alk, trochę mało amerykański aromat może przez to że chmiele poszły w kierunku owoców tropikalnych i żywicy co jest jak najbardziej ok, ale trochę brakuje cytrusów. Barwa: bursztynowa, delikatnie przymglone. Piana: biała, niska, drobno i średnio pęcherzykowa, szybko opada, nie pozostawiając znaku na szkle. Smak: duża dawka słodkiej złożonej słodowości z delikatną nutą karmelową, wszystko delikatnie przełamane średnią goryczką o przyjemnie rozgrzewającym alkoholowym finiszu(dopiero w tym momencie czuć że mamy do czynienia z wagą ciężką). Bardzo dobre degustacyjne piwo.
