clear brown smooth light brown head. looks real nice. aroma is nutty, caramelly, malts, belgian yeast, low on bitterness which suits the beer very well , favor is malty, caramelly, slightly nutty bitter, belgian yeasty notes, bit more bitterness than aroma but not too much. decent bron ale, high drinkability and well balanced.

On tap @ the brewpub. Almost clear amber body with an off-white head. Aroma is medium malty with caramel, hint of butterscotch and light spicy. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, a bit fruity, light spicy and butterscotch. Medium body and some hint of sourness in the aftertaste. Despite a hint of butterscotch it’s not really bad, but could have been a lot better without this off flavor.

Bottle. A clear, amber beer with a big, off-white head. Lacings too. Slightly sourish aroma with fruits like orange and peaches. Sweet, caramel flavor with some roasted notes and a little bitterness. Some citrus peel like bitterness, both initially and in the end, but especially in the end. Medium body, dryish. A rather ordinary beer, far from offensive, but also quite boring. 110621
