Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Deep gold with a moderate white head and a middling fizz. Caramel, spice, floral notes, and a touch of dry leaf in the mildly bitter finish. A better than average gold.

Hand-pulled pint in the lovely Victoria and Albert, near Salisbury on 12th Oct 2013. Golden, clear and bright: thin white head. The taste and smell were leaning towards citrus hops with hints of both wood and nuts preventing the beer becoming another one of those boringly bland golden citrus brews that litter UK pubs currently. It was OK, but not really my thing.

Cask @ Bon Accord. Clear golden colour, white head. Nose is hoppy, citrus, slightly malty, rubber, maybe hint of chlorine or sour dish cloth. Flavour is malty, citric, lemonade. A bit home-brewish.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It pours a clear, golden body and a firm, two-finger off-white head leaving lacings. Citrusy, fruity aroma with some hints of pale malts. Definitely not clean, but quite pleasant. Lemon-peel, pale malts, some bitterness and a good touch of pine cones in the mouth, medium bodied and quite dry. A bit heavy on the carbonation, finishing hoppy and metallic. Sure off, but still quite pleasant. 110128

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium orange yellow color with a huge, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, perfume, soap. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long to average duration, soapy citrus, fresh. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO infected but okay .. [20110128]
