Bottle shared by John. Part of 5K backlog. Pours clear gold with off white head. Nose of caramel malt, pineapple, peach, orange zest and herbal resin. Taste is mostly bready malt and caramel with a dryish resin finish. A bit bland. Okay. Lighter than medium bodied.

Bomber from Whole Foods Market Darien, CT. Pours a hazy orange color with a large frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of citrus and floral hops, a faint bit of resin, and toasted, almost nutty malts. The taste is toasted malts, graham crackers, citrus hops, apples. Medium bodied. Decent.

Bottle at home in the CT, USA. Pours clear gold with a dense, frothy white cream head. Quite effervescent. Tropical fruits and dough in the nose. Medium sweet flavor, bready, with sweet and juicy fruits, subtle wood and yeast, and faint, dry grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly dry to finish, with lightly toasted hay and dough, pithy citrus, mild grass, with perhaps some touches of orange marmalade. A very nice beer overall.

Cask at Redbones: Poured a light amber color ale. Aroma of fresh floral hops is not as powerful as expected. Taste is dominated by medium bitter notes with some floral undertones with delicate dry caramel malt. Body is about average. Middle of the road IPA with no major flaws but lacking a bit of hops.

Draft @ tap take over, Tj’s, Portsmouth, nh. Served WAY to cold. Nose is nothing. Taste is bread malt and mild earthy hop, weak citrus near the finish. Juciey wet hop mouthfeel. Ok

Very hazy deep copper coloured amber body with a dense, thick tan head - perfect for an IPA. Aroma of potent grapefruit and pineapple hops, some light malt, a touch of alcohol and a lot of fruit and hop bitterness - good. Medium-bodied; Mildish hop flavour at first with some grapefruit and pineapple tastes noticeable, coupled with a mild malt backbone a potent alcohol bite and a good slightly nutty finish. Aftertaste is nice, but a little mild in the hop bitterness category - just a little hops are noticeable and a bit more fruit than anything else. Overall, a pretty good IPA, looks and smells great, just is a bit too mild (wish it was more potent). I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Colonial Spirits in Acton, Massachusetts on 23-September-2010, sampled at home in Washington on 31-January-2011.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2010, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium orange color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit, apricot. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20100806]

Aroma: The nose has bread, fruit, yeast, and some floral notes
Appearance: It pours a hazy amber color with a small white head
Flavor: The taste is somewhat maly up-front with a clean hoppy finish
Palate: This one has a clean feel, its a drop creamy and has a nice flow to it
Overall Impression: A decent, but fairly boring and predicatable American IPA. It is solid stuff, but not memorable by any means. The lingering message of my notes: typical.

Bottle. Herbal hop note, hint of vegetable. Seemingly clear copper colour. Small stable tan head. The flavour starts off a bit sweet, then comes a good herbal hop note and a clean bitterness. A different sort of hop than most APAs or IPAs, but quite good.

Lightly hazy gold beer. Suddy white head. Light dry palate. Floralish malt base. Dry hop bitterness. Touch of pineapple and some tepid orange. Finishes dry. Not sure this was in the best of shape.
