Bone dry, lacking depth that could be any apple cider anywhere. Super simple, but not horrible. Boring

50 cl bottle @ Home. Rated on 01.07.2012
Aroma has somewhat floury apples, some fruit sugar and hints of spices. Flavour is dry and leathery with some leathery notes, green apples and hints of spices. Surprisingly watery and straightforward, I’d expect this to be much more rich with this ABV.

Bottle from Brewer’s Droop, Bristol. Amber coloured with plenty of fizz. Tart apple fruit aroma with a hint of barnyard. Flavour began with some sweetness, before the dry apples took, leading to a moderately tart finish. The alcohol was completely hidden. Good.

(Bottle 50 cl) Clear amber colour - no head. Dry apple aroma. Light-bodied - almost watery. Clean and very dry apple notes and a fairly high carbonation. The finish is dry and less astringent than most other English ciders. Very fresh and quenching, and it’s hard to believe that this really holds 7% ABV. 190208
