Gravity dispense at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14. As ’Summer Blonde’ but seems this is the same beer. Clear light golden with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light citrics, grain, straw, not a lot doing! Taste comprises light bread dough, lemon rind, straw, pale malt, touch of cereal. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. An underwhelming GB.

Sampled @ GBBF. Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste are light to moderately malty, lightly hoppy, hayish, slightly grains, lightly bitter. Average body and carbonation. Decent.

Cask - Biscuit malts and honey. Light gold with no head. Biscuit malts and some sweetness. Nothing special.

Cask @ GBBF 2014. Grassy nose. The beer starts smooth, fresh. Easy to drink with grainy hints. Not much bitterness, quite dry and dusty. The aftertaste is light, hints of grain, no bitterness. Great summer beer!

Cask at the 2014 GBBF. As summer blonde. Palate is flabby and light. Aroma is floral, pollen and honey malts. Light yellow straw coloured beer with a fleeting head. Flavour is straw, light honey and base malts. Light floral finish.

Keg at The Albion House Tavern, St. Peter’s Port, Guernsey. Very pale yellow colour, moderate white head. Some malts in the aroma. Medium fizzy and lagerish mouthfeel. The flavour has a little malts, and some hops in the finish, but not much of either. Some bitterness in the aftertaste, but hardly any hop flavour besides the bitterness. Won’t buy again.

Tap at The Albion, St. Peter Port. Smooth and grainy start. The mainpart is Golden Ale typical, smooth but lots of grain with a nice ale-sweetness. The a aftertaste is smooth, grain, Golden Ale characteristics with a sweetish finish with nearly no bitterness. Nice but not my style of beer.

Tap @ The Cock & Bottle, Jersey. Clear yellow with a small off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and light hoppy - flowers. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 170714

Cask at GBBF 2010. A yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of flowers and hops on a lightly malty background. A bit boring.
