On draft at Dominion Wine and Beer. Pours black with a tan head. Aromas of cocoa and vanilla. Flavors are moderately sweet with some bitter roast. Surprisingly the mouthfeel.

Vanilla, roast. pretty good balance. Pours black with good head and lacing. Quite a sweet, boozy finish. Balance is decent here, though a little too much icing sugar sweetness. Bottle at Aslin 4th.

5oz pour is a very leggy, opaque black with some ringing brown head. Big, boozy nose, whiskey, maple sugar, molasses, licorice. Flavor is huge booze and sweet notes, maple and brown sugars, smoke, pencil lead, burnt sugars. Very full bodied, boozy and sweet finish. A bit heavy. 7 4 7 3 13
