Bottle kindly passed onto me from Vale Brewery 31-01-08 Bottle hazy golden pour, ginger is in evidence straight away, although this beer is also quite sweet, but then you notice that there is a nice spiciness to this and the yeast also pitches in but its unmistakeably a ginger beer albeit a slightly sweetish one, I liked this beer.

Bottle: Poured a murky yellow with white froathy color head. The aroma jumped out of the glass as I was pouring it, very spicy with ginger bread wheat smell. The tingle was pleasant to my tongue and the dry veggy like finish was pretty good too.

Bottled. Pale orange colour with lots of floating particles in it. Aroma is barnyard, spices, sweetish malts. Ginger bomb! Flavour is honey, ginger, yeast, malts and hops. A very pleasant and well made beer.

Slightly hazy golden color, with a lot of very small pieces flying around, and with a short white head. Aroma of a nice triple, but obviously with a lot of spice, ginger in this case, some citrus as well. Also quite spicy taste, sweet, mild bitter, some honey perhaps. Not bad though it might become a bit annoying after a while.

Bottled [BB 03/2008]. Hazy orange-yellow color, small white head. Fruity, melony aroma. Fruity is also flavor, backed with herbs - ginger is dominating. As a spiced beer - very balanced - alcohol is quite hidden.

(Bottle 33 cl) I believe this was De Graal’s first beer. And -atypically- it’s a ginger beer. Very beautiful, amber colour, hazy with a large amount of yeast-sediment. But it’s the completely massive head that leaves the biggest impression. It stands an inch high in the glass and never disappears completely. Unusually welldone. Ginger beer can be a mixed delight, but this might be the best I’ve ever had. The ginger adds a piquant edge to an already good ale. High carbonation. 010203
