Der Ursprung des Storchen Bayrisch Hell geht auf das seit dem 19. Jahrhundert produzierten Vollbier zurück. 1972 wurde das Vollbier in Bayrisch Hell umbenannt. Das rote Etikett war aber immer schon stilprägend. Mit seinen malzigen und leicht floralen Noten zählt es zu den Klassikern bayrischer Braukunst.

Draft @ Fränkisches Bierfest, Nürnberg. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma. Fruity malty grainy weak grassy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy grassy finish.

Many thanks for this beer to Beerhunter111. Clear golden colour, large white head. Malty-hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, pleasantly malty with a hop character and a rural touch.

Das Bier hat eine klare goldgelbe Farbe und eine mittelgroße weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch getreidig malzig, kaum hopfig, sehr neutral. Geschmack leicht süß malzig, getreidig, gering floral hopfig, nichts besonderes.

Bottle, courtesy of Quack-Duck, many thanks. Light golden color with medium white head. Aroma of hops and grain. Taste is little bit bland, some malt and hops. Short bitter finish. Average.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. It’s a clear one, golden in color and with a small, off-white head. Neutral aroma with some grains and a touch of hops. Dull flavor too, although a bit more interesting, at least the hops shows up. Nice carbonation, medium body. The finish is a bit short, with a nice bitterness. 110128

Bottle: Pale golden to golden, small and stable white foamy layer, lazy carbonation; sweetish grainy-strawy nose with a papery touch; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; slightly hoppier towards the short bitter-sweet finish. Not so exciting.....

Bottle 500ml.Clear medium yellow color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, vegetable notes, light hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110128]
