Appearance: clear chestnut brown with a moderate off-white frothy head of medium retention. Aroma: toadt, treacle, rye bread, burnt sugar, dried fruits. Taste: light to medium sweet, light bitter. Toasted malt, treacle, dried fruits, bread, hop. Mouth feel: medium minus body, average carbonation. Summary: run-of-the-mill.

50cl bottle. A clear orange brown beer with a mid-sized most good lasting beige head. Aroma of dark malt, caramel, nutty malt. Taste of dark malt, caramelish malt, nuts, medium sweetness, okay!

Bottle 500ml. @ home. [ As Herrnbrau Dunkel Exportbier ].Clear medium to dark amber red - brown color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark bread, roasted, caramel, light nutty. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration, dark malt, caramel, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110124]
