500ml bottle from Sainsbury. Gold in colour, no real head. Oh dear, bad start here as it has diacetyl on the aroma. Butter and dandelion don’t go together. Diacetyl all over the flavour. Then add to that over filtering and pasteurisation and you have a pretty horrible beer. The dandelion element is interesting, but someone forgot to tell the brewer about malt and diacetyl and pasteurisation. Awful..

50cl bottle from Sainsburys. Pale gold with a trace of white head; fruity and malty aroma with some honey; soft and sweet in the mouth with honey, gentle hops and a curious fruity herbal taste that is resumably the dandelion; then there’s a herbal bitterness to finish. Overall quite drinkable, but not something I would seek out a regular tipple.

Bottle from Sainsbury, Kidlington, 30-05-09 Pours mid gold with white head. Aroma is sweet, honey, malt and a touch of the pilsner about it. This is quite soft in the mouth, the merest hint of pislner again, but its far too sweet, the sweetness has knocked the stuffing out of any bitterness that may have been there, some honey. Another Badger beer that despite just not quite being right, its not unlikeable for all of its faults. A6 A4 F6 P3 Ov11 3.0
