Brewed with a blend of brown coffee malt, aromatic malt, and Caramunich, we rounded this beer out with lactose for a nice sweeter finish, and then aged it on Mamajuana wood our brewmaster brought back from the Dominican Republic. Mamajuana is known in the Dominican as an aphrodisiac and also to have healing properties. Drink up!

On tap at Harvest Tide in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. Translucent cola brown pour. Small creamy beige head. Roasted malt nose has woody, minty notes. First sip is roasted malt, oak leaves, black mulch, licorice root, birch bark, A-Treat and Zzz-Quil. Thin bodied for a Brown Ale. Sticky, herbal finish. Different.

Strange vibe from the odd wood. Kind of like a brown with the aroma of a couch that's spent too long in an incense-fused dope parlour. Dark brown pour with good head. Caramel and some wood. Bittersweet end. Tap at brewery.
