Half a pint at the Marketplace alehouse & deli. Medium creamy beige head. Clear amber pour. Light colour and flavour for a porter. OK.

Cask @ Upper George Hotel, Halifax. Dark copper-red with a creamy head. It's a malty ale, not much 'dark' influence apart from its colour.

Cask at the Roman Bath in York. Pours very dark brown with a truly creamy beige head. Light mocha aroma. Med body. Flavor is dusty chocolate with dark malt. It thins rapidly. Gets a touch chalky. Tasty without being filling. Finishes dry and bitter.

Cask at GBBF 2010. A brown beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt as well as lighter notes of coffee. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt as well as lighter notes of oats, leading to a bitter and hoppy finish. The body is light. A bit odd.

Gravity på Steel City Beer & Cider Festival 2 Okt 10. Mørkebrun med et lavt skum. Svak aroma av sjokolade & kaffe. Litt tynn smak men litt sjokolade & frukt. En ”lettporter”.
